Straight answers
How fine is the mesh?
Fine enough to stop shingle granules — openings measured in fractions of a millimeter — while passing water at rates far beyond any Wasatch Front storm.
Do they work in cloudbursts?
Yes. Mesh flow capacity is a multiple of what a 6" gutter can carry, so the gutter overflows before the mesh does — and a properly sized system does neither.
Can they go on my existing gutters?
Usually. Sound gutters at correct pitch take guards directly; we clean and verify flow first, and tell you if the gutter itself needs work before guards make sense.
