Gutter Installation

Copper Gutters

Copper is the material this trade measures itself by. It never rusts, it outlasts the roof it hangs on, and it ages from bright penny to deep bronze to verdigris — a finish no paint can imitate. We solder every joint rather than sealing it, which is the difference between a copper system that lasts a century and one that leaks in ten years.

Questions

Straight answers

How much more does copper cost than aluminum?

Roughly three to four times the installed price, driven by material and soldering labor. It is a lifetime system — most owners never replace it.

Can I keep the bright copper look?

You can slow the patina with sealants, but copper wants to age. Most clients choose it precisely for how it looks at every stage.

Do you solder or seal the joints?

Solder, always. Sealant on copper is a shortcut that fails; soldered joints are metal-to-metal and permanent.
