Gutter Cleaning

Downspout Flushing & Unclogging

A clogged downspout is worse than a clogged gutter: the run above it becomes a reservoir that overflows in the first hard storm. Packed leaves, bird nests, and years of compacted grit do not rinse out with a hose. We clear the full channel with high-pressure water and proper tools, and check the underground connection if your downspouts drain into one.

How it works

Our process

  1. 01

    Hand clearing

Debris scooped by hand and bagged — not blown onto the lawn or flushed into downspouts.

  2. 02

    System flush

Every run flushed with water and watched for flow, pitch problems, and leaks.

  3. 03

    Downspout check

Each downspout verified flowing full-bore; clogs cleared from the shoe up.

  4. 04

    Condition report

What we saw up there in plain words: sound, watch-this, or fix-this.

  5. 05

    Site cleanup

Debris bagged and gone, walks rinsed. The only evidence we were there is working gutters.

Questions

Straight answers

Water comes out the top of my downspout in rain — is that this?

Almost certainly. Water backing out of the outlet means the channel or the underground line is blocked. We clear the downspout first, then test the underground line if flow still backs up.
